Meat Fight, Inc. is a Texas non-profit on a mission to make giving to charity an undeniably entertaining experience. We call that funlanthropy. Come party for a cause with us! You'll like it.

All of our Meat Fight's events raise funds to visibly, directly, and immediately support people who are living with Multiple Sclerosis. We give bikes through our Meat Bike program. We support athletes who accept the challenge of taking on the Dallas Marathon. We fund athletes to complete the Galveston IronMan. And we raise money to give direct donations to the National MS Society to specifically fund research that will one day find a cure for MS.

Meat Fight is on a constant mission to bring you a good time. And to bring us all closer to a cure for MS. We believe that funlanthropy is the fastest way to reach both goals. Join us.

This is Meat Fight. Not Cole Slaw Fight.
2010 Meat Fight judge expresses disgust upon seeing a vegetable on his plate.

In 2010, we started Meat Fight® with a few friends and a keg in our backyard. Our Texas barbecue competition has four categories: brisket, pulled pork, sausage and Wild Card.

In 2012, we brought the meats to the masses for the first time. 12 fancy Dallas chefs competed for barbecue glory, and they were judged by the best barbecue minds in the best barbecue state. We ate meat, we drank whiskey, and we raised $20,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

In 2013, we demolished that number and raised $50,000. We even had Nick Offerman as a special guest.

12 Dallas chefs competed. There were many meats. There were many beers. We ate bacon doughnuts, we ate beef jerky, and then we raised a meat ton of money. Oh, and obviously there was a giant glitter pig.

Cut to 2018: Our bike team is 240 riders strong, and is a million dollar fundraising team for BikeMS. Our Meat Bike and Project 13 programs have gone national and help people all over the country reach amazing endurance goals. And Meat Fight, Inc. doesn't just host one kickass food & fundraising event a year: we host three (Chicken Thang, The Meat Fight 1k, and Meat Fight) and we've got a new idea on the way every day. This year, with the help of our sponsors and your generous donations, we’ll do even more than we've ever done for this cause. Here’s to meat, beers, and finding a cure for MS.
